Namaste, I am creating this profile on behalf of my son, Ritwik. Ritwik is currently working as a Cluster Revenue Manager with Oakwood Hotel Group, Bangkok, Thailand. He completed his graduation in hotel management from HTMI, Switzerland. Further, he has specialised in revenue management with reference to hospitality sector from Vedatya Institute, Gurgaon. Ritwik has previously interned and worked in Switzerland, USA, Dubai, India and is currently in Thailand.
I am a retired Class-I, Central Government officer (IRS by virtue of promotion) (Customs & Central Goods & Service Tax)based in Ahmedabad. Ritwik's mother, now a homemaker, previously worked as a Biology teacher and coached students for medical entrance exams. He has a elder married sister who is currently a research scholar. My son in law is working with Larsen & Toubro.
Ritwik has roots in Prayagraj from his paternal side and in Ara/Patna from his maternal side. We are based in Ahmedabad since long and Ritwik is grew up in Ahmedabad after spending some part of his childhood in Bihar and Jharkhand. As parents, I and Ritwik's mother have tried our best to impart values of both the worlds (traditional and modern) to our two children.
Ritwik is well traveled and has an international outlook. He loves to play guitar , has a keen sense of music and he is an excellent cook along with being a witty conversationalist. Belonging to the hospitality sector, he is quite hard working and quite focused on his professional growth. We are looking for a like minded match from a similar family background for our son who can be his partner in the highs and lows of life. We are Bhumihar Brahmins. We also welcome proposals from other communities.
